sushi and jazzy hip hop

So last time I said I would talk about how my next sushi experience would go with a proper intro and everything, but you know what, I’m tired and unmotivated to study so I’m just gonna randomly type out a few stuff.

So Shirasoni or however it is spelt I didn’t care to look at the sign, had HALF OFF ON ROLLS. SO. MUCH. WIN. Good sushi, thats cheap!?!!??!! I swear why did I not know about this earlier like a year and half ago or more. Anyways i had a koro roll (I think that was the name) and an umi roll. I forgot which roll had what but there was lots of salmon, tuna, white tuna, unagi (eel), ebi, and those fish eggs (tobiko? I think) It ended being only $12 after a forced 15% gratuity included in the bill, since we had 9 people in our party. Which is pretty damn cheap for something good and the amount I got. I’m definteily going there more often on Mondays. There were also  chefs doing those pretty, agile, and graceful knife tricks with machetes as if they were butterfly knives, which was interesting, until the dudes behind us blew something up on the grill table and a huge wave of heat hit my tender neck and I saw orange lights dancing on the walls with the signature tttsssssssssssssssssssss sound effect to kick it all off. It kinda freaked me out a little. Just a little.

Right now I’m listening to some awesome jazzy hip hop that flows in the same vein as Nujabes and his stuff if you know him (which you should, cuz if you don’t, go look up his stuff NOW. He’s dead unfortunately, quite a tragedy…it’s his stuff that got me into this genre). Some of the ones I’m listening to right now are more melodic, I suggest you all search up Beautiful Field, Ghibli of Life, The Best of Jazzin’ for Ghibli (yeah they’re songs that use tracks from Ghibli Studios movies),  stuff by Tsunenori and re:plus are also good for relaxing and just all around chilling out. I might post DL links later but I feel like I have before…w/e I’ll see.
